It was great fun returning to Edale rise Primary School in Sneinton Dale to introduce the rest of the school (years 3 to 6) to YogaBeamz.
The day went so fast!
The children participated in
Fun Yoga Games,
Yoga movements to increase strength and flexibility,
Yoga Balances to improve the ability to focus and concentrate,
Different breathing techniques that expand and strengthen the lungs, energise or relax the body
Relaxation. It never ceases to amaze me that within a few minutes of the children laying down with the lavender bag on their eyes, how calm, quiet and relaxed they become.
There is always a few that fall asleep! So sweet!
